Hastelloy C-59 Studs

Hastelloy C-59 corrosion resistance
C-59 alloy is a very low carbon content and silicon content of Ni-Cr-Mo alloy, in the hot and welding process does not tend to produce mesophase, so this alloy can be used in chemical process oxidation Sexual and reductive media. Due to the higher content of Ni, Cr, Mo, C-59 has good corrosion resistance to chloride ion. In standard corrosion tests involving oxidative environments it has been demonstrated that C-59 alloys have higher performance than other Ni-Cr-Mo alloys. C-59 alloy in the reductive environment has good corrosion resistance, for example: 10% boiling sulfuric acid solution corrosion rate is other Ni-Cr-Mo alloy 1/3 or so, in the hydrochloric acid environment also has a good Corrosion resistance.
The alloy has a wide range of applications in the chemical, petrochemical, energy manufacturing and pollution control, the typical application is as follows:
