Hastelloy C-59 Nut
The nut is a fastener with internal threads and used in conjunction with a screw for mechanical parts for movement or power.

Hastelloy C-59 Features
C-59 is an ultra-low carbon Ni-Cr-Mo alloy with excellent corrosion resistance and high mechanical strength. Its nature has the following:
1, in the oxidation and reductive conditions under a wide range of corrosion resistance;
2, pitting and crevice corrosion have a good resistance, while the impact of chlorine stress corrosion fracture has immune characteristics.
3, such as nitric acid, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid mixed acid has good corrosion resistance;
4, the same containing impurities with good corrosion resistance;
5, 40 ℃ below any concentration of hydrochloric acid has good corrosion resistance;
6, is allowed to use between -196-450 ℃ on the pressure vessel;
7, approved by NACE standard MR-01-75 grade VII in acid gas environment.
The alloy is widely used in the most severe environments. Some applications include: flue gas scrubber components, bleach plant and digester components for the pulp and paper industry, sour gas handling equipment, sulfuric acid coolers, waste incinerators and seawater equipment.
